He however, later becomes sympathetic when the courtship turns again as they had not agreed on how to measure the pound of flesh and blood (Shakespeare, Coleman & Barnes, 23). He is well armed with his knife in court and could not wait to be finally allowed to take a leak his pound of flesh.Shylock can be analyzed as a very inhumane and partial character as he does not even give Antonio a chance to explain him self, he harbors secret loathed for Antonio and would be delighted to destroy him the best way he would (Shakespeare, Coleman & Barnes, 23).
